Today’s card on the deck is the Strength card. Life might push you down, and you think of giving up because you lack the strength to get back on your feet. The strength card has the image of a woman dressed in a white robe with a wreath around her waist. The crown is beautifully adorned with flowers, while above her lies a sign of infinity. She holds a lion with one hand on its jaw while the other hand lies on its head. Ironically, the lion, a fierce animal, has been tamed by the woman.
Pulling out the upright strength card might indicate that you are in a desperate situation. You are probably burdened by certain medical needs and you have been looking for help to no avail. You feel drained because you have spent your resources to cater to the medical needs yet there is no positive response. You are worried because you do not have the certainty that there will be an end to your medical needs hence it is taking a toll on you. The strength card is a call for you to put yourself together and summon your inner strength. Release the fear of the unknown that has taken control of your mind so that you can let the power of the strength reclaim its position in you. While your medical needs might weigh you down, the reality is that you can choose to remain above. Your mind is so powerful that it actualizes what it has been programmed to think. If you harbor the thoughts that you can rise above your medical needs, then your brain will transmit that stimuli to your body which will then respond positively.
What if you are living with someone who requires medical needs and they have given u? Convincing someone to shift their mindset can be difficult since they have their perspectives and reasons for the way they behave. Take an example where you have a sick friend and they are hospitalized as they seek medical needs. Supposing they are diagnosed with a long-term illness and it hits them that they will never recover from it as explained to them medically. Trying to convince such a friend that there is a reason to remain strong and have hope in life might be very difficult, especially in the first stage where they struggle to accept the reality after the diagnosis. However, you can still make them have hope by feeding them with positive energy thus allowing them to harness their inner strength.
Just like the woman in the card is able to tame the lion without using external power, you are called upon to summon your inner strength when dealing with difficult situations. It may often seem as if the most powerful person is the one who can physically fight a whole army and win. However, the strength card brings you the revelation that some battles require you to gather your inner strength and be silent for you to achieve victory.
